The Collected Letters of Phoebe Wedgwood

The collection of letters belonged to Phoebe Wedgwood and were originally housed in a black box bearing her initials. The majority were written to Phoebe by her parents, Cecil and Lucie, while at Wycombe Abbey School in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The collection also contains letters from her grandfather (Godfrey) to her father. Lucie’s letters are generally more philosophical while Cecil’s are more matter-of-fact.
